Here is a call to action for anyone who has been to the 5 Day Reality Based Training instructor school, as well as to anyone who runs any sort of opposed force training scenarios, especially where projectiles are involved.
A colleague of mine posted a video today on Facebook that shows an upcoming competition at an Australian paintball facility. I watched the video. I can guarantee that there are thousand who will watch this video and think “COOL!!!!” I watch the video – their promotional video for the event – and I am horrified.
Trainers … watch the video, tell me why I am horrified, and then pass it along to other trainers and ask them the same question.
