That was painful to watch.

My wife came in after hearing it from the other room and asked if this was some bad rapping record or something. I explained what it was and she asked "so is this a how not to video?"

Thanks for that video. Like Pick said ... painful to watch. And, yes, George Thompson needs to jump on a plane for an intervention with this guy.

Pick ... what Mully was referring to is a term we use in our classes called a Goofy Loop ... this type of repetitive behavior - a stuck record. In fact at one point during the encounter the subject actually said to the officer that he sounded like a stuck record. In our classes, we teach trainers to observe when a Goofy Loop is in process and to intervene to get the officer moving with a more effective course of action.

Well then that would definetly be a Goofy Loop! Hope you can never find a better example.
