Hello all, I am in the process of developing a power point presentation on RBT. Problem is I am not a great technician when it comes to power point development. It has become completly content based with no videos or things to bring student back from the brink of bordem. I am reaching out to see where I can find and secure some RBT videos of actual scenarios. I have searched policeone.com and officer.com. NOTHING, I am not sure If I am searching correctly. Any help from the RBT community would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You want videos of actual incidents? or senerios. If you want senerios I would suggest video taping your own so it could be made to suit what point you were trying to get across.
If it is a actual incident you are looking for I have several links to a wide varied of situations.

Pick is right ... your best bet is to film your own stuff, even if you have to "set" situations up to demonstrate the point you are trying to make. One reason (and one of my own reasons) for not being able to find videos on scenarios is that participants are very reluctant (understandably) to have any of their training errors put out into the public eye. When I video scenarios in my instructor schools I have made a sacred bond with my students that their performance will never find its way onto a public video site such as YouTube or see themselves on America's Funniest Home Videos. The LE community is very generous within its own circles in sharing videos. So my intention might be to release the class videos only to the class participants. Once they are released I have no control over who those videos subsequently get passed along to or for what purpose. There are folks even within your own agency who might have some vindictive agenda against another member at some point where release of a video can result in embarrassment. All to say, your idea of including video in PP presentations to illustrate training points is excellent .. I do it all the time. But when people approach me to ask for copies of this or that video or even my PP presentation, my stock answer is always a polite "no".
If you create videos or have ideas for videos you want to create and wish to discuss those ideas, I'm definitely open and available for that. Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice. I am certain we will video tape our actual scenarios for our department and will keep them closely guarded. I would like the links if you do not mind as well. Thanks again

Thanks Ken, I would like to look at the links that Pick was talking about. Then We could do an actual scenario with volunteers, and tape it too. I could also add that to my power point. We will video tape our departmental training and keep it closely guarded. Thanks again for the response from the forum
